A4: Growth and characterization of thin single crystalline layers for molecular electronics
Growth and characterization of thin single crystalline layers for molecular electronics
The project area utilizes in situ characterization of metal-organic nano- and microcrystallites to study the growth of organic materials for molecular electronics. As in the first funding period, the project is divided into two parts: on the one hand, the complete structural characterization takes place, in particular the structure formation of crystalline organic layers at the liquid-liquid interface. On the other hand, these layers are integrated into electronic components in order to characterize the active semiconductive layers in-operando using microspectroscopic probes with respect to their electronic properties.
